About Miana

Miana is an independent product review site. We started it because shopping for things like e-bikes means reading listings full of numbers that don't agree with each other, and claims nobody checks.

What we do

We pick products people are actually considering, read everything the maker publishes about them, and check it. That means comparing specs across the listing, testing performance claims with simple physics, and reading the laws that decide where and how you can use the product. Then we write it up in plain English with a clear verdict: who should buy it and who shouldn't.

What we cover

We started with e-bikes and personal electric transport, where the gap between marketing and reality is widest and the legal rules matter most. We now cover six sections with the same method: e-bikes and mobility, tech and gadgets, home and kitchen, beauty and wellness, software and apps, and outdoor and fitness.

Independence

We are not owned by or affiliated with any brand we review. We do not accept payment for reviews or placement. We fund the site through affiliate commissions, which you can read about in our affiliate disclosure.

Every review follows the same rules: sourced and dated figures, laws quoted directly, calculations shown, and a clear statement of what we have and haven't tested. Read how we review.
