Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Miana ("we", "us") collects when you visit miana.store, and what we do with it. We keep collection to the minimum needed to run the site.

Information we collect

Server logs. Like most websites, our server records basic request data: IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and your browser's user-agent. We use it to keep the site running, fix errors and block abuse. Logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Calculators. Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never sent to us or stored.

Email. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply. We don't add you to any mailing list.

Cookies and tracking

Miana does not set its own cookies. Our fonts and styles are served from our own domain. Every page also loads a script from Skimlinks, an affiliate service that turns links to merchants into affiliate links so we can earn a commission. Skimlinks may set cookies and record that you clicked a merchant link from our site. Its own privacy policy applies to that data. We do not run analytics. If we add them, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link and leave our site, the retailer or affiliate network may set cookies to record that you came from us. Their privacy policies apply from that point. We receive only aggregated sales reports, not your personal details.

Service providers

The site is hosted on a server we control and may be served through a content delivery network for speed and security. These providers process request data on our behalf.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and California's CCPA/CPRA, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. We do not sell or share personal information. To make a request, email [email protected].

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
