The short answer
Consider it if
- You want one machine that grinds, brews and steams for under $300.
- You want a 58 mm portafilter so standard baskets and tampers fit.
- You are happy to learn a semi-automatic machine.
Skip it if
- You want push-button coffee with no learning curve.
- You already own a good grinder. A machine without one costs less.
- You need a long warranty.
15 bar or 20 bar?
The product title says 20 bar. The page header and the web address say 15 bar. Gevi's own FAQ on the same page explains that the figure is the pump's maximum and that a good machine regulates to around 9 bar while brewing.
That FAQ is right, and it makes the headline number close to meaningless. Espresso is brewed at roughly 9 bar. A pump that can reach 15 or 20 is like a car that can reach 150 mph: it tells you nothing about how it drives at 60. What matters is whether the machine holds a steady pressure and temperature at the puck, and no listing can show you that.
30 grind settings or 51?
One section of the listing says the grinder has 30 settings. Another calls it a "51-setting grinder". We cannot tell you which is true without the machine in hand.
For espresso the number of steps matters only at the fine end. If the jump between two neighbouring settings is too big, one will run fast and sour and the next slow and bitter. Thirty steps spread from coarse to fine may leave only a handful in the espresso range. If you buy, plan to adjust your dose by half a gram to fill the gaps.
Power, size and what is in the box
The machine is rated at 1,450 W on a 120 V supply. That is about 12 amps. A standard kitchen circuit carries 15 amps, so do not run it on the same circuit as a toaster or kettle at the same moment.
It measures 12.0 in deep, 11.5 in wide and 16.5 in tall, and weighs 18.7 lb. Check the height under your cabinets and leave room above the bean hopper to refill it.
The box includes the portafilter, four filter baskets, a tamper, a stainless milk pitcher, a spoon, a brush and a cleaning needle. The standard warranty is one year. The page describes the optional extension two ways, "up to 3 years" and "Extra 2-Year".

FAQ
Is the Gevi ECMI0 15 bar or 20 bar?
The listing says both. It makes little practical difference, because espresso is brewed at about 9 bar.
Does it come with a grinder?
Yes, a built-in grinder. The listing gives the number of settings as 30 in one place and 51 in another.
What size portafilter does it use?
58 mm, the same size most cafe machines use.
Did you test the machine?
No. This review is based on Gevi's published listing.
Verdict
The ECMI0's parts list is strong for $290: a 58 mm portafilter, PID control and a grinder in one box. The listing is careless about its own numbers, though the two it gets wrong matter least. Buy it for the hardware, keep the 30-day return window in mind, and do not pay extra for "20 bar".
